Arriving in Lake Tekapo after 8pm, it would pay to shop prior to your arrival. Dining hours are reduced due to lack of staff and our local Four Square closes at 8pm.

If you want to relax with a book we recommend the range of books available at Petronella's Gallery and Bookstore.

Walking distance from Dunrobin Cottage are the local tennis courts.

If you want to enjoy a free premium night sky viewing spot. Head down Lillybank road (east side of the lake) until you find a clear spot, and just look up.
